Stephen S. Boeschenstein is the President and founder of NPG Management, Inc. Most recently, he was a Managing Director of Stanwich Partners, LLC, a private equity investment company focused on lower middle-market companies based in Wilton, CT. Mr. Boeschenstein co-founded Stanwich Partners in 2003 and he retired from the company in 2019. During his time at Stanwich Partners, Mr. Boeschenstein was involved in all aspects of the company’s operations, including generating deal flow, deal structuring, financing, investor relations, and providing strategic planning support.
Prior to forming Stanwich Partners, LLC, Mr. Boeschenstein was a Senior Director and Strategy Consultant for Optima Group, Inc., a management consulting firm providing strategic planning, product development and marketing communications services to a national client base of investment management and distribution firms. Previously, he was with Fidelity Investments in a host of roles, most recently as Director of New Business and Product Development for FMR Co., Fidelity’s parent holding company. Mr. Boeschenstein started his career at Citibank’s Private Banking Group, where he held both marketing and client management roles.
Mr. Boeschenstein has over two decades of experience investing in privately held businesses on both a direct basis and as a limited partner in established private equity funds. During his tenure in the industry, Mr. Boeschenstein and his partners have successfully closed multiple transactions across a variety of industries. He has served on numerous corporate boards, including those of Eagle Bridge Machine & Tool, Inc., Solesbee’s Equipment & Attachments, LLC, and Advanced Recycling Systems, LLC.
A native of Northwestern Ohio, Mr. Boeschenstein now resides with his family in New Canaan, CT where he has been active in local government and various other community activities and boards. Mr. Boeschenstein earned his B.A. from Georgetown University and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
